PEXb MONOLAYER PIPE

It is produced in PEXb and it gives to the pipe the resistance to high temperatures under pressure, while keeping unaffected the water potability.

PEXb-EVOH MULTILAYER
Oxigen Barrier

It is the new PEXB-EVOH multilayer pipe, produced by Plastica Alfa for closed-loop hydronic applications, hydraulic systems and heating systems.
The EVOH Oxigen barrier layer prevents corrosion of cast iron components.

BENEFITS

  • Utstanding resistance to high temperatures under pressure,
  • 50-year service life in continuous working at 95°C and 10 bar
  • Increase the resistance to UV ray.
  • Overall resistance to chemical and electrochemical corrosion;
  • Potability and preservation of the organoleptic properties, even at high temperatures
  • Outstanding soundproofing
  • Reduced pressure loss
  • Easy and speed installation
  • 100% impermeability to oxygen, gas and steam (only EVOH)
  • According to DIN 4726 (only EVOH)

CROSSLINKED POLYETHYLENE

Cross-linking process creates covalent bonds in the polyethylene chains in a three-dimensional network.

The crosslinking can take place in various ways to obtain various types of PEX: (PEXa (peroxide method), PEXb (silane method), PEXc (radiation method).

Pipes quality is not subject to the cross-linking method, but just to professional extrusion as required by the reference standards.

CONNECTION AND COMPATIBILITY:

PEXALFA and multypexalfa tubing are compatible with crimp, clamp or push-to-connect type connection systems:

crimp system, clamp (cinch) system, push system.
